A visionary Perfumer-Couturier, he created the House’s very first fragrance at the same time as his revolutionary debut collection, known as the New Look.

Today, Miss Dior is reinvented in a contemporary, colourful, and creamy interpretation, enriched with the most precious natural ingredients. At its heart, Centifolia rose absolute unfolds a tender sweetness with honeyed and subtly peppery accents. Wrapped in warm and gourmand notes of creamy vanilla, a generous and almond-toned tonka bean absolute, and a milky sandalwood accord, it leaves a unique, intense, and long-lasting trail.

The Centifolia rose is notably grown in Dior’s exclusive rose fields in Grasse, the world capital of perfumery, nestled in the heart of the south of France, so dear to Christian Dior. Among them is Château de la Colle Noire, his Provençal residence, as well as the Naysses estate, where his younger sister Catherine Dior, the inspiration behind Miss Dior, cultivated roses.

From this unique Mediterranean terroir, between sea and mountains, exceptional flowers are born, composing a powerful trail imbued with savoir-faire, a living tribute to the House’s heritage.

Velvety, silky, and full-bodied, the Centifolia rose, also known as the Rose de Mai, reveals honeyed and delicately peppery accents. Its exceptional absolute is notably sourced from Dior’s 11 exclusive rose gardens in Grasse in the south of France, where the House is committed to preserving the excellence of its cultivation and perpetuating this ancestral savoir-faire.

In 1947, Miss Dior was born out of a wild impetus where the pressing desire to re-enchant the lives of women and open up their eyes, once again, to the sparkling colours of love was felt. Following a bleak period, at that time this scent was synonymous with renewed happiness, poetry, and harmony for Christian Dior. Miss Dior intrigues, excites and invites us to marvel at love and all the beauty in the world.


Echoing its inspiring character, the new Miss Dior fragrance is like an olfactory "millefiori". Centifolia Rose, with its honeyed and peppery notes, reigns over a delectably creamy velvet heart. It is embroidered with fresh Lily-of-the-Valley notes, an apricot-tinged Peony accord, and powdery Iris notes. Miss Dior is thus built around an elegant, striking bouquet-like a "millefiori" that seems to carry countless flowers in endless colours. At the base, slight notes of tender wood envelop the composition.


The couturier's fragrance, Miss Dior eau de parfum, is adorned with a new poignard fabric bow-a few centimeters of pure luxury is tied around the bottle's neck. The new Miss Dior Eau de Parfum now boasts a vibrant, pointillist haute couture bow, with a truly unique assortment of florals. Beneath the bottle, the emblematic Miss Dior houndstooth motif is engraved in the glass.

The elegant yet slightly cheeky Miss Dior bow-called a "poignard" or "swallow's tail"-is a universal signature, known as a mark of recognition for couture. Today, it is reinvented with a luxurious sense of exceptional savoir-faire. To enlace the bottle's neck, an exceptional ribbon was crafted at one of the most renowned French ribbon-makers' guarded workshop, known for its decade-long dedication to high fashion shows.


Elaborated over months of work using traditional weaving looms, a jacquard ribbon-with over 396 threads and 12,000 stitches at every centimeter-was born. An exquisite, meticulous creation with a myriad of pastel flowers graces each of the bows' jacquard ribbon.


These centimeters of ribbon have required as much creativity, time, and attention as those that bedeck the runways's finest dresses.
